It was probably the indicator on your brake shoes, it makes noise til its ground all the way down. Better pull off the rim and at least look at it. If its drum brakes it could be an adjustment spring.

When you wanna go out and get ****ed up but you have to be responsible and save your money so you can go move somewhere cheaper so you can go out and get ****ed up more often without having to worry about not being able to afford to move somewhere cheaper.

The dilemma, it is a strong one.
