That feeling when a perfect stranger asks you for a cigarette, and repays you by talking your head off about random bull**** you couldn't give less of a **** about.

I find it especially annoying if they tell me a story on why they needed a cigarette so badly.
Im already giving them the cigarette so what makes them think i care about the events that led up to this moment?

Im vaguely interested if its a friend but i don't need to hear that sh*t from a chatty stranger who's giving me a pity backstory when i already gave him the cigarette.

Not smoking is the best thing I can do to accommodate my social reclusivity. I have avoided many a burnt-out middle-aged man on my way to school by rejecting his request to bum.

How does that make any sense? What could possibly make people want to be around you less than if you have a flaming cancer stick of death?
