The south of England in general is quite affluent, leafy and pleasant but is boring and expensive. Anywhere south of Birmingham just turns into one big characterless mush imo. London is the exception but that is shit unless you are seriously rich.

umm bath was really awful for me
i fought with a guy i liked at the time and spent the entire day sulking
it is much nicer than the city where i lived in the uk though we didn't get to see the roman baths which was a shame
