Both kind of blend together in my mind but I certainly find it easier to talk to girls than the typical 'lad' style of male.

Yeah that's what I meant by "generally". I have no issues at all talking to my proper male friends that have more similar interests to me.

That's true. I, however, find it hard to have lengthy conversations with anyone. I have not enough self-respect or whatever for that. I always tend to think I'm just bothering the other one and wasting his/her time and so, even if the conversation really is very pleasant, I find myself looking for ways to end it.
Also my sense of humor or my interest very rarely match with the person I'm talking to.
