How to have lengthy conversations with a girl?
 

I know this thread has nothing to do with music, but I am studying music in college, and I have a new classmate in school. She is a vocalist singing mezzo alto. Her name is Jessica and she was once in university studying Fine Arts: Visual Arts and she dropped it because the history part is too difficult for her. I'm also going soon to university. Then she moved to my college because her real passion is in music. Later on she will study again in university taking Psychology. She has a sweet tooth. She likes M&Ms and Skittles, but she also has a salty tooth. She likes coffee and green tea. Her father is Italian and her mother is Mexican. I'm just writing this down because I already talked to her. Overall, she is a beautiful babe. I plan to take her out on dinner next week using the money I have on pay day. The only problem is that I don't have a lot of ideas for conversation. How do you have lengthy conversations with a girl? I know some guys can talk random stuff to girls for hours. I want to learn. I am listening to Metallica's Kill Em' All while typing this. So rock on! :band: :band: :drummer:

Is this a relationship advice website now? Just keep asking her questions about her and let her ask questions about you, I guess. People love to talk about themselves.

2 pieces of advice.

1. Girls like nothing more than hearing the sound of their own name.
2. Let her talk, just nod & agree, she's think you're sensitive and a good listener.

Just keep askin follow up questions and interrupt to be witty from time to time

Spend the whole time discussing whether the Beatles or the Beach Boys are better.

Why wouldn't you talk to her like anyone else?

Does she play an instrument? Do you? If so, ask her if she'd like to "jam" sometime.

Woman I dated the most in my younger days was a flute player (and a very good one, too). I played guitar. We met in college and a related internship, but we became friends when we started playing instruments together. Best one was "Scarborough Fair," sounds really nice with a flute accompanying a guitar.

Nothing is certain but if you want to learn how to talk to girls, one thing you should definitely do is join a nerdy internet forum and get advice from its members. Blast some Metallica for extra inspiration.

If you can't have a natural conversation with her, she's not the girl for you.

I think you should just open up the conversation with so what bands do you like and see where it leads. Elaborate on what she is saying and offer your own opinions which should lead to more conversation then compliment her on what she is wearing.......

With any luck you may just get a second date with her to further your conversations.:bowdown:

Read up on Italy, tell her what a great place it is, and how someday you would like to travel there. She'll transfer her feeling of security of her father onto you. Then you're in like Flynn.

• Don't wear square toe dress shoes.
• Don't wear cargo pants with duffel bags for side pockets.

yeah the pointy dress shoes and square toe dress shoes part need to be taken off of that list but I agree with everything else.

I disagree with Nea's post too. You shouldn't be wearing shoes at all.

Does she like to eat M&Ms and Skittles concurrently or eat only one of them separately at different snack times? I think Reese's Peices and M&Ms could be eaten concurrently at the same time no problem - something like tiny miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Stop calling her "babe"... you're going to make him nervous if you call her a "babe" building her up in his mind like that... he won't be able to cope.

They can't be avoided on boots but honestly you don't want to pick her up looking like Peter Pan by wearing pointy tip shoes.
