Default Why does this forum feel empty?

I joined MB way back in September of last year and I love the discussions here. However, one thing that has kept me from sticking around a lot is the general emptyness of the forum. It seems like it's not very active in general, and some threads take hours before there's any replies.

Why is this? Did MB used to be really active in it's past and is now a ghost of it's former self? What happened?

You joined way back four months ago?

My experience not only here but most forums is periods of heavy activity punctuated by periods of relatively light activity.

There is a decline in activity here since I first joined way back when. I don't know if forums are a popular as they once where. There are more social networks available now and they might suit people's interest better than forums. Though a good forums does have its advantages for reviews ect (see Trollheart). Members here also meet up in tinychat and plug.dj etc

I tire easily with other social media... This forum is the ****, because at least here I can talk to people who have some solid concepts on music, and other things..Hell I wouldn't trust the people I know in person to recommend me an album...cause that **** would be in the garbage...Common Interests are everything

I don't understand why people keep saying it's dead here. I'm here every day and it always feels active. And i'm here in the mornings and evenings. Never seems dead to me.

You joined four months ago. Made 17 posts, probably didn't create any threads then pissed off. Yeah this place is dead
