It works like every other iPod. You plug it into your computer and load it up with music via iTunes.
edit: sorry, I thought you were asking about the iPod Classic. All Apple products work really smoothly with iTunes. Non-apple products often need some kind of 3rd party software to enable drag and drop. That software often doesn't work, or costs money, or both, depending on your device.
