I just had a piece of a dessert I made. The recipe is called "chunky oat bars". It's like a brownie with rolled oats. I may have used too much butter, but damn it tastes great.

Old man is making London broil with tomatoes and peppers from our garden. Enjoying some summer sausage and smoked mozzerella while we wait on that.

Highly recommend smoked mozz btw

Over the weekend, my mother gave me some cherry tomatoes from her garden. It had to be the best batch of tomatoes I've ever eaten.

Is it bad that when I think of summer sausage, I think of Steel Panther?

I had some shrimp and peas. I was feeling lazy, but still a little hungry.

I took 3rd place in a chili cook-off during the Bears home opener yesterday. They were all outstanding and there were no leftovers.
