Well it's usually during one of those "Is he trolling or isn't he?" debates that ends with half the forum pissed off with the other half, and then the troll acts the victim by asking the mods to ban him because his feelings have been hurt so very, very much.

Wow. Heh, it's pretty funny that I never noticed the guy was a prick.

I think it was because I...

1. Never read any threads from current events and such
2. Never use the shoutbox
3. Have not been here long enough to know who this Dirty individual is
4. and lastly, regardless of whether or not he was here to troll, all his posts about in the NBA thread were legit and I enjoyed talking to him in that thread.

Reading through this thread I guess he was only here to **** off certain members and everybody else, like me, he didn't have a problem with.

This is a good example of this because, while he definitely seldom talked about anything to do with music, he was indisputably intelligent and meaningful in the NBA thread and other random areas where I encountered him. Again, I'm sure he presumably, was only interested in discussions with people he liked such as myself.

All this being said, if he deserved to be banned....than he deserved to be banned.

That isn't always true Batlore. I've seen someone request a ban because they wanted to concentrate on studying for college finals. Another ask to be ban because she felt she needed time away to deal with depression. And a another member ask because of his own personal reasons. It's easy to say "oh, they are trolls!" or "oh, they have self-control." But I think it is a little more complicated than that.

No, I think Bungalow had more irrevocable bans, from what I was told. He had them lifted through a friend of his who was a mod at the time.

Bill was an awful douche. Sleepy Jack most likely had way more bans. And BooBoo was far more toxic to the boards and Dirty every was.

Bungalow and booboo did keep coming back actually. I'm not sure what Big3 is talking about with Sleepy Jack though. He's a former mod and still posts here occassionally.

I'm curious where this information about Buttface reporting his own post to google comes from though. From what I recall we had issues with that before he was a member.
