I of course, basically talk almost entirely about metal nowadays. lol funny how things change.
But, as Janszoon replied to me...

Janszoon also said this, which is what I want to say to you.
J-Zoon is right. A year ago, or a couple years ago or whatever, the metal community was godlike. Metal Wars was one of, if not the most happenin' non-funny-pictures-of-cats threads on the whole forum. Then that thread wound down, some members dropped off, and it was dead until a little while ago. Now it's... better, but I think until Metal Wars gets back to its former glory "the scene" is still not gonna be what it was.

I'd love to be here when the emo discussion actually was going strong. Unfortunately I was like 7 years old at the time.

Now, the majority of users seem to lean towards AOR and dad rock. Too much discussion about early prog rock, the big four of metal and other uncool bands.
Y'all sounding like you're 40 and wearing 20 year old band shirts to keep up with the kids.
Plus there's been an alarming rise in dumb pop fanatics. Seriously guys, Iggy Azaela? She's whiter than this post.

Where's all the cool music at? Have you got less cool over the last three years.
Discuss.

Spoiler: I think you have.
OK that might be true, but I think people should talk about what interest them. Problem solved.

Now the most uncool thing I ever saw which was personal and non-music related was some guy just started going after Mondo in plug insulting and berating him. I forget his name... its what's-his-face... you should know who I am talking about he acts like a total dillweed.
