Correct. Part of the definition of a planet is that it dominates it's orbit, Pluto doesn't come close. Were it to break out of orbit and find itself hurtling toward the sun, it would have a comet-like tail.

It isn't even the largest dwarf-planet in the Kuiper Belt, Eris is (as displayed in the image on my previous post).
