Tfw your nerd thread has metamorphosed into a fashion/food blog...

But a few people have valiantly stayed on-topic!

I do wish there were designated fashion thread. People could post pictures of their best band t-shirts or something. (And I'd have an excuse to model some of my more ridiculous wardrobe items. Like my tree face purse that frightens small children at the grocery store)

I was a huge nerd in my youth but I've grown out of it..
-I used to write game mechanic articles for YuGiOh tcg, and was an official judge.
-In my early teens, I hosted a server for Ultima Online and programmed custom weapons, skills, etc..

I don't think I belong in this thread..

I never got into the actual card game, but I was definitely more into the show than was justifiable for my age, and the GBA video games were incredibly addictive. Haven't played one in ages but I still have the feels for the Black Luster Soldier.

My deck was worth over $400 at the time and now it's worth pennies.. Basically ever card is banned in the standard format.

If you have a smart phone or ipad you should check out the newer cellphone game Duel Links. It's getting a lot of hype, but idk if it's one of those things where you have to dump tons of money to compete with others. Hearthstone satisfies my card game fix nowadays.

Also, when YGO first came out I read Shonen Jump for the first year. That is my only experience with comic books.

You could start a thread with that exact same theme. I feel like we have had one floating around in the past but if you do a search and can't find it. Then by all means, take the flag.

That reminds me of this.

They're like apples and nonexistent fruits from space posing as vegetables to overthrow the human race: you just can't compare the two.

Thank you, Frown.

Innerspaceboy, can you sew?

Of course! (Can't every man?) However, as the majority of my sewing needs involve hundred-plus-year-old antique garments, I usually defer my projects to my tailors - a wonderful couple of gents who run the area drag shows and own the greatest vintage clothing shop in the city.
