Not a strict routine, more like looking for recent/active banter. I'm usually the Johnny Come-lately and last one to post in a thread before it dies off. But anyways, in no particular order:
  • Quick check for Private Message, usually none.
  • Scroll down and scan the Last Post column.
  • Check The Lounge.
  • Go through The Music Forums, and scan threads titles and last post, before I decide and get involve in reading something.
  • Check New Posts search function.
  • click User PC and check New Subscribed Threads
  • click in order User PC > Your Profile > Statistics > Find all threads started by ... - I do this to find follow-up responses in unsubscribe threads I posted in. It's helpful for run away threads (sometimes where it ten pages since my last reply), it brings me back to the spot where I left off the night before, or whenever I last visited a thread.
  • I check the shout box.
  • Check Plug.dj.
