You may be surprised to know, I didn't start this because one of my threads died. Didn't you read the disclaimer? ALL my threads are AWESOME. ALL! Seriously, it's just supposed to be somewhere people can ask about, get feedback on or just annoy everyone about dead threads. Take nothing seriously.

For example I've not really checked in here for about three/four days and finally saw that the long awaited Star Trek month was up at last, but then I saw he had written pages on it and I though **** it's going to take me ages to read all this unless I skim it and skimming Trollheart's posts often misses the depth of his writing anyway.
Thanks man; nice to know someone takes the time. Or, er, doesn't take the time. You know what I mean. Some of the entries are relatively short though; they're not all Trollheart epics. Check the "Greatest moments in Trek history" I just posted for example. Very Urban, I feel...

You see them everywhere. They have nothing important to say and you **** right sure they are going to say it in every single thread they post in. And yet irregardless of being the most active posters that act like a pair of automated external defibrillators that keeps MB from flat-lining the one's thread dedicated to the others the thread just fell off the map after two replies. So why, why did the thread get ignored after all his hard work he put into it?

http://www.musicbanter.com/lounge/80...ng-thread.html

One person dared, and the other was dared and accepted, and thus sets the precipice of his response in this thread:

http://www.musicbanter.com/lounge/80121-dont-mind.html

He promise "Maybe more soon." but none never came. And politely asked "Post what you like!" and sadly enough only one person did.

It was so incredulous what he had seen, that he immediately inquired into the matter and after some stealthy gum shoe work found out it was due to illegal activity.

http://www.musicbanter.com/lounge/80...-happened.html

He had a project to do, a survey, and it was like a monkey on his back. He was knee deep in work with deadlines to meet. He needed help but quick, and turned to MB thinking it was the right place for helpful insightful answers. But despite a desperate plea he was ultimately ignored.

Some threads should be locked from post #1.

One of my favourite threads was when I started a thread about a band that got 1 response, until 2 years later when Pitchfork raved about the same band and suddenly it became popular.
