A word you consistantly mistype? All the time.

BECAUSE

100% of the time it comes out BECASUE. Never fails. Ever.

Otherwise I have my finger dyslexia pretty much under control.

Frownland 06-24-2015 11:59 AM

I'm a grammer freak too, but I still make typos.

Ya but that's a tough one. Becasue should be easy.

Ooops. I did it again.

Plankton 06-24-2015 12:02 PM

Oh Britny

LoathsomePete 06-24-2015 12:06 PM

Convenience is a word I can never seem to get right on the first try, even typing it out I got it wrong.

Also surprised no one has mentioned that consistently is mispelled in the thread title

Dick. :D

I'm not talking mispelleded. I'm talking words you'd nail in a spelling bee but simply can't type right when wailing along on the keyboard.

Oh yes. Without fail.

Also adn, aslo, teh, almsot, laughign (in fact, jsut --- jsut too, as you see there --- about every word ebding in -ing), abuot and hundreds more. Guess my fingers are faster than my brain, which woudl not be hard. Oh yeah: woudl, as you again see there, also coudl, and whihc.

Isn't it odd that when you try to deliberately do it it's actually hard to?

Oh, well that's a bit different for me as I'm an extremely skilled typist. And very humble about it too :P

Seriously though I can blast out 105 wpm with next to no mistakes, kinda crazy. I have no idea how I do it tbh

Mediterranean. I had to google it just now just to spell it right.

Neapolitan 07-27-2015 09:50 PM

I spell "rediculous" instead of ridiculous like all the time, for what ever reason I think that it's rediculous, cause it's like the act of being "diculous" again hence I thinks it's spelt with "re."

^ I wanted to ply in lation to your post because it's just so diculous !

I'm a really slow typist, usually using between four and six fingers. A word I'm really good with, though, is the word "property", because half of it is right there, in a row, on the keyboard; E-R-T-Y
Whenever that word turns up, I really pick up speed.

E5I5O 07-29-2015 10:29 AM

hosue

Aux-In 08-20-2015 07:22 PM

The Beatles.

Either the band's name or the insect's name. I always want to spell it beattles with the extra T, which looks right to my eyes, instead of The Beatles or beetles.

I've read you can type the word "typewriter" all on the top row too. They did this so people selling typewriters could slip in a piece of stationary paper and type the word "typewriter" like a pro. It was done as a selling hook cause otherwise they would use instead the check and peck method which would make it seem like they didn't know what they are doing. Cause at the time it was at the time it was a newfangled invention and nobody had no clue where any on the letters where on it and no one had developed typing skill yet. Dr. August Dvorak was wise to this and tried to improve the arrangement, but not at much success.

(I've just noticed your post, sorry for the late reply) :o:

Rajbir1994 08-21-2015 05:57 AM

I always mistook to type my country name Bangladesh.

Frownland 08-21-2015 05:58 AM

I accidentally tell a lot of people to go duck themselves.

Chula Vista 08-22-2015 12:50 PM

Ya, this ain't about bad grammar. It's about keyboard dyslexia.

Sometimes out fingertips and those freaking tiny little squares just can't get along.

Usually when I've had a lot of marijuajuana.

gunnels 08-23-2015 02:00 AM

Unneccessarily

The Batlord 08-23-2015 04:49 AM

Yeah, I'm not reading all four pages of this to see if anyone else pointed it out, but is Chula aware that he misspelled "consistently" in the thread title?

Neapolitan 08-23-2015 06:50 AM

Yeah, I'm not to scan through all three and a half pages to see if any one brought this up but the title is a bit redundant, if you are doing something constantly, (did any one noticed Chula misspelled "constantly" wrong? adding an extraneous "si" or "is" depending how you look at it in the middle of the word "constantly") by its very definition you don't have to say "All the time." If you do it "constantly" I'm pretty sure people will already know you do it all the time. What an unnecessarily redundant title, but maybe that was part of the pun. Or maybe he is proud of the fact he constantly misspells "constantly" as "consistantly." Idk

don't sweat it.

I figured it was like the word irregardless, which is like irrespective plus regardless, which formed together creates a super-word. I had read that title a dozen times as "constantly" not as consistantly nor as consistently.

Frownland 08-24-2015 10:10 PM

I forget commas all the time dude.
