I'm on their forum now. I did find a cracked version which will work on the Android but a) I already pay so I don't really want to use this and b) I'm trying to get this running on my sister's Kindle, so that prog ain't gonna help. I'll see what, if anything, they say at the Spotify forum. Thanks for your input anyway.

I think it's dumb in the first place that you can't use Spotify freely on a phone/tablet device without the Premium subscription. If I can use it for free on my PC with ads, then I should be able to do it on my iPod Touch. It's an arbitrary restriction.

Just keep the ads for all platforms so it's free, and make Premium an incentive to get rid of the ads, the same way Pandora does it.

You might also want to consider other options to Spotify if it's not working.

There's also Google Play Music and Tidal. Google Play Music's main selling point is that you can upload songs to it, for example your MP3 library, and then stream that to any device along with whatever else music is on their library (pretty awesome). Tidal's main selling point is that they offer lossless quality.

This is an option I hadn't considered, at least for the tablet. I'll look into Google Play Music. Thanks tore.
