Within limits, everyone is entitled to their own style of posting of course, but I personally agree with OccultHawk's OP as well as these two opinions:-

Some kind of comment about it goes a long way toward piquing my interest.

^ Actually, both of these points are covered in an excellent guide to posting etiquette that was composed years ago by Freebase, I believe, though I can't find the thread at the moment.

Not always, but in general, I'm too lazy to click on YouTube clips that people are too lazy to introduce in some way. I'm here to enjoy music and discussion and something posted without comment doesn't really encourage discussion. In fact, they can give the impression of being arrogant or unfriendly, ("My taste is so good, I don't have to explain it."), though I freely admit that that interpretation may be down to me and various old-fashioned notions about writing.

On the positive side, I'm happy to see that some conversation killers have actually fallen out of fashion; Do you remember these:-

'Nuff said.
End thread.

So basically, no one finds you funny.

Dear Abby

I am and I already did. Hence my saying, "I did mention it in a joking way but it didn't take apparently."

Mentioning it in a joking way is neither direct nor speaking your mind. Pussy

I think I may be the only one who finds you legitimately funny.

Nea is excellent. Weird humor, but I enjoy it most of the time (and when I know it's meant to be a joke).

Speaking your mind in a humorous way is not speaking your mind. Got it. I will yell or shed tears in the future.
