Why the **** do they say "peanut butter & jelly" when they mean "jam" ?!
... and we call it Jello cause that's the most popular brand of it, it's like "kleenex" or "bic".

Don't ask me. I am equally as puzzled.

Yeah, we don't have Jell-o, it's called Jelly here. The mot popular brand is 'Aeroplane Jelly.' It comes with an awesome theme song, too.

Lmao at the Jell-O conversation.

This has been a combination of the best/worst weekend of my life. Funniest in some ways by far, cos of work. But pretty saddening. Life goes on?

Because in North America jelly refers to a type of spread that is different from jam. It's basically jam minus the fruit pulp.

Yup. Jam=with seeds and pulpy bits, jelly=jam without those bits, jello=what we limeys generally call jelly.

I don't mind this differentiation of language because it's at least not a case of calling jam something else, it remains jam.

I am however offended by the very concept of squirty cheese.
