Getting a new roommate.
I was going to have to go to a meeting with all of these girls I dont know that don't have roommates and just pick one I get along with.
I'm shy.
I don't do that.

But then we decided that my friend Rachel would move in cause she doesn't like her roommate and now I'm mad excited.

Hehe thank you.
She's here enough as it is, though, so it's not much different than her sleeping here and her having more of her stuff here.
She's sleeping here now.
She says her roommate creeps her out. xD

I hear ya.

Man, that reminds me of some of the roommates I've had in the past though. lol.... sometimes you just strike wayyyy out.
I probably set the bar for 'person who had the worst roommate judgment' though, so I think the rest of the world can breathe easy.

Speaking of new roomies... today I found a place to live! I move there in a couple of weeks, so only a couple more weeks of enduring my auntie. Yay! I am very excited, but also very nervous to meet my new flatmates considering they'll be complete strangers. I'm a bit scared, actually.

Id be scared of that too for sure. Im sure you'll feel alot more comfortable once you meet them and hey, maybe they are scared to meet you too!

True, they're probably just as nervous/ uncomfortable! But I feel like the vulnerable one as I'm in a new country and coming into their sharehouse... hopefully it'll work out alright. I already met them for coffee for an interview and agreed to go out with them a couple of times before I move in. Still... eep! Fingers crossed it works out :)

Oh I know its harder on you, I get that. Meeting them a few times before you move in is a great idea though. That will make it much easier.

Freebase Dali 02-01-2010 01:06 AM

^ Indeed.
But you won't really know who they are until you've lived with them long enough for it to be proven.

We were supposed to have a course beginning from 9 a.m till 6 p.m. I got to the uni at 9.30, turns out we don't have any courses until Wednesday.
So now, I'm in the Uni's cafeteria, cause I won't drive an hour to get home, then another one to get back here at 5 p.m to help in a film shooting.
