I have to clean my apartment today, and I don't want to! :( I suppose I don't have to, but I've slacked off lately, don't clean as often as I used to. And I'm supposed to be anal. Procrastination, laziness and ambivalence have taken over.

You just described my relationship with cleaning to a tee. I used to be such a neat freak, I don't know what the hell happened to me.

Life happened, soon you'll find yourself walking around the house in a bathrobe that doesn't fully cover you and worrying about the upkeep of the lawn.

Part of it for me is that I'm single now and leaving alone, and I don't make much of a mess at all. It's just dusting/vaccuming and general bathroom funk that needs cleaning. When my ex lived here, things got disorganized and dirty much faster. For example, chicks shed hair like crazy, which attracts dust and makes it visibly dirty. I was cooking for two, almost daily, so the potential for a mess was greater too. So now I'm alone, and I don't make a mess, so I don't need to clean as much, resulting in no longer being in the habit of cleaning every two weeks. Oh well. I cleaned, it smells good, and I feel good about it. :) Now I'm good for another month.

Heh. I think that's the opposite of what happened to me, my place was a lot cleaner when I was single. :)

Well that's essentially what I was saying...when my ex was here it got dirty faster so I had to clean more often.

I drank a complete bottle of wine. I think that's considered as, Success!

It's snowing like crazy, again. Granted this kind of weather is a pain in the ass, but I sort of enjoy it. I like sitting inside relaxing while the outside is being blanketed and I like going out in it, like I did an hour or so ago, when the city is all quiet and shimmery.
