Going for day number two of completely underacheiving, and it is a refreshingly good feeling...

Samesies. Except the 60 degrees has been replaced by 70 heat. Plaid shirt is a basketball jersey. Classic hip-hop is now The Radio Dept "Pet Grief" and a book.

This morning i had a lie-in till 11 and then got up to go to work at 12. Work was same old same old. Finished work at 6 and popped into Tesco to get some milk, bread and a few other bits and bobs before heading home. Spent the evening in the best possible way to spend an evening: doing absolutely f**k all.

same, today it was actually raining for a bit here in chicago and all that pretty white snow turned into grey-black sludge.

The week that was. My washing machine bit the big one last week so I had to buy a new one which I definitely COULDN'T afford and then my sister calls me today to tell me that she has a virtually new machine sitting at home taking up space that I could have had for nothing . I put my name on the organ donor register and adopted a tiger through WWF and registered with a local childrens charity to give them some money each month even though I am out of work, I still feel lucky to have a roof over my head and food to eat so what the hell.

I have a ton of PSone games gathering dust in my cupboard so I managed to pick up a first gen PSone console in perfect condition in it's original packaging so I have been retro gaming this weekend.

I was supposed to see the band Obituary tonight but the lift to the gig fell through at the last minute. Just as well we were going to pay on the door and not have tickets in advance.

Villa (my supported footie team) completed a brilliant turnaround in the second half to get into the semis of the FA cup and I have downloaded some great music tonight.

So know I am getting drunk as usual.

Well. So far, I found 2 articles in the kitchen about how to "stop enabling your adult child." And as I'm the oldest in the household, I can only assume this is because of me.
However, I'm 19, and a student. I'm being lazy at the moment because I'm ON SPRING BREAK.

Got a better update on a best friend of mine, Scotty, who was in an accident friday, where he was hit by some fuckin 18 year old drunk driver after a party. He was air lifted to Victoria for medical attention, he had bleeding from the brain and was hooked up to support. Hes off the support now, but still in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition. Im makin a trip down island on Friday to see him. Cant describe the feeling I felt when I heard what happened the other day, never experienced anything like it.
