Well, I just joined this site after working all day with my two little ones ( I work as a nanny) and am waiting for my boyfriend to come home so we can have dinner and go out to watch the football game tonight. My life is a bit boring.

Hehe, doing classical studies back in high school is the only reason why I know the meanings of obscure words like stylobate, pronaos, peristyle, architrave and entablature. And since then I can't help but notice Doric/Ionic/Corinthian columns everywhere

Today I woke up and I've done virtually nothing since.

I'm officially blaming the world cup for what promises to be a very lazy next few weeks.

I woke up with a monster hangover. I seeing a dangerous trend of getting schmammered every time I meet up with one of my friends. Now I'm waiting for a call to go meet another friend who's staying with me this weekend. Hopefully she wont want to party tonight.

I'm going to Florence with my family on vacation and i think it'll be both interesting and extremely annoying for them, because i'll probably end up going around and mentioning the antic influences in renaissance architecture to them all the time :b

it was an interesting class but i'm just really glad i'm done with it now!

Today I sat in the pub. I'm at home now, but really just to get some dinner before I go back to the pub. It's a winner of a day so far.

And in the last 3 days I've been on a spa break, had a facial (I love my Mum and her 'cheering up' methods), got a job (start on Monday) and spent a ridiculous amount of time drinkng Peroni.

I'm in a pretty good mood!
