Dogma is a great film. Might be my favourite Kevin Smith film actually.

As for my night, i did nothing. Friday nights in are so depressing. I'm hoping I can afford a few pints tomorrow night but it would also make a lot of sense to save that money until next weekend so i'll see. I REALLY do not want to stop in all weekend.

I heard Mallrats was a bit shit, so I never bothered with it. If I like Dogma, I'll get around to watching some other KS films.

No group of friends ever get up to anything good, usually it consists of pizza, sitting around, talking about absolute shite. But that in itself is good.

No one's announced for Bestival yet but the line up is always stellar. Massive Attack, Kraftwerk, Amy Winehouse (<333), My Bloody Valentine, Jonsi, Echo And The Bunnymen, Flaming Lips have all played over the past few years, so. And it just looks beautiful. You should do a festival next year. I find it really, really odd that you aren't always at shows and stuff.. considering how passionate you are about your music. Then again I guess passionate doesn't necessary = going to live shows, but you know, on the most part it probably does.

Hangs is good though, but doing simple hangs like that all the time can get a bit monotonous I'd say. You need Pan's in your life right now. I will come to Manchester tomorrow and personally give you my copy. That's how much you need it.

Critic's consensus, that's how I mostly sort out what's priority to watch. I like to have my own opinion about stuff, but I often agree with the critics so I use them as a guideline. But I guess with comedies it's different, something can be funny but critics are a bit too snobby to accept it as being funny. So meh, I dunno. I'll get around to watching more KS films. Clerks is genius <3, and Chasing Amy was great.

I should really go to more shows and stuff, I always make plans to see stuff, but like I said before it never seems to happen. But it's not something I'm too bothered about. I love listening to music in my room through headphones, others love the live experience. Though, that said... I've never seen a genuinely great live band.

I think I'm gonna watch Let The Right One In first and then Pans. How highly do you rate it? What's the best way to describe it? It seems like it's a fairy tale... but for adults. A dark Fairy Tale.

I never usually listen to what a critics tend to say. It's not entirely unlikely that I'll share the same opinion on something as them, but I'd leave that until after watching/listening to whatever media I'd read the review about.

Amy Winehouse is awesome, I've already had my chance to see her once when she supported Arctics but I hated her then and purposefully went to bed late the night before so I'd get up late so I didn't accidentally stroll into the LCCC while she was playing. Regret. Uhhh, you don't like MA or Echo? Mega, mega downfall on your behalf. I'm considering not even replying to your message now, that's how much you've disheartened me. But I will anyhow cos I'm already halfway through. The thing you're definitely missing there is seeing a great live show then, for me most shows are a buzz just cos of the atmosphere and stuff so I very rarely come out of a gig disappointed (except for when I went to see Jedward, but that didn't count as I already went in disappointed).

Pans is... just totally majestic. There's a very vacant darkness about it yeah, I rate it really highly but I've only watched it once. It's definitely a film I thoroughly enjoy but I watched it at the cinema and haven't felt the need to watch it again just yet. I know that probably sounds odd as usually if you like a film you'll watch it more than once, but I just don't want to over-do it and I'd feel like even twice would do that. I'll watch it again soon though.

Got paid yesterday, good wage. Had to give the vast majority of it to my mum :'(. I need a haircut badly too. My friends leaving for coventry and I'm 100% positive I'll cry like a total jessy. Have nothing decent to wear to the pub for it :(. Gayness.

I watch a ridiculous amount of films, though I go through phases. I haven't downloaded any new music in about a week because I'm in a film phase. I've recently got out of a mad music phase. But when I'm in the mood for films, I need Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic etc. or else I'd watch too much bad stuff, they help me sort what I watch out for the most part.

Haha, Echo & The Bunnymen I've just never been able to get into. Same with Massive Attack really. Maybe one day I'll get into E&TB but I don't think I'll get into Massive Attack. Just one o' dem fingz.

I'm not fussed about the atmosphere really, it's something that doesn't appeal to me like it does to others.

Some of my favourite films I've only seen once or twice. I've only seen Taxi Driver once. I've only seen The Shining once.
I don't think you need to watch a film loads, some films don't need to be watched loads. What's the point in watching a film like The Usual Suspects more than once?
Pulp Fiction and American Beauty are the 2 films I consider favourites I've watched the most. (About 5 times each.)
I think I'm gonna watch Pans tonight.
