Looking a little deflated and somewhat embarrassed the by now obvious WOW fangirl added rather apologetically. "I have a life too".
Me: "Yeah, but mines real!"
This time the people in the queue joined the staff laughing at the poor girl as she handed me back my reward card.

It was a beautiful moment.

I had a temp job in GAME last Christmas and even though I know that these people exist, i was pleasantly surprised to learn that in my store none of these people existed. A lot of them didn't even own a console.

Tonight I ate a Peperami Hot dipped in Mega Death Sauce, which is 500 times hotter than a jalapeno chili, all for a free pint. I'm proud to say that I took it like a man but it did bring on the hiccups for a little while and my eyes watered uncontrollably for a few minutes afterwards but it was bearable.

One of my mates put a bit on his finger, licked it, and then touched his eyes. He did not experience quite as much success.

Had to go to a surprise funeral today. I was all set to go to work, and I get the phonecall. "Oh, by the way, you're going to your uncle's funeral in 20 minutes".

It's a strange fact of life that funerals have the best egg salad sandwiches.

Today is a good day, managed to get a Glastonbury ticket and had received my confirmation email within 20 minutes of the sale time

some of my friends were trying for over 3 hours :|

Today was our one-year dating anniversary.
It's been really chill--not a lot of fanfare, which is nice. We spent half the day in bed, went out for an AMAZING, epic brunch and now he's cooking me some ludicrous italian dinner.

He drives me a little nuts all the time but even so, I kinda lucked out with this dude.

Ughhhh I feel the same as you right now, very very ill, because Big Day Out tickets (BDO = most popular Australian music festival) go on sale in a couple of days and I HAVE to go to see Tool... but they usually sell out in about 2 minutes so... fun fun :S
