I'm pre-gaming at home before I hit the bar for St. Paddy's day. I don't think I'm going to stay there long though. Just chill for an hour or so

That is sooo gross. Makes me sick thinking about it.

I'm tired. So far I've spent 2 hours of this day sleeping and 5 hours awake, and now it is too late in the day to go to sleep to get more rest.

I've been reading a little more about Japan and the radioactive plume. This reinforces for me why I feel nuclear power, with its dangerous waste, is not a good long-term solution to human energy consumption desires.

Also, I'm just glad I don't live on a massively crowded island prone to earthquakes and tsunamis. Iowa is, I think, the safest place to live on the planet. Plus, we have good soil and plentiful rainfall. I probably shouldn't mention that, though, otherwise hordes of people will come here, ruining it for the rest of us. But, darn it all, I'm too honest so the secret about Iowa is out.

My friends and I are having a St Paddy's Day celebration of sorts tonight. Prolly going to a bar for a couple of hours but we're not going to stay because they get so f'n busy, especially downtown. Plus I got caught up in the middle of a fight last year - wrong place, wrong time kind of thing. So yeah, a couple of hours at a bar then back to my friend's place for more drinks. I'm certainly not going to class tomorrow morning, because going to class hungover is just the worst thing ever.

My blood test came back today.

I might be a bit hypoglycemic, in danger of developing gout and having high LDL cholesterol.

A change of diet, then?

Well I was hoping to go out tonight and celebrate St. Patricks day with an abundance of green beer, but thanks to the protesters, all the bars are closed. Thanks a lot, ****ing shiites.
