I could notice similar aspects within their music. Listen to "Our Lives", which encompasses similar themes to that song. Except that in "Our Lives" he's trying to be inspiring.

I can hear the resemblance as well, the lyrics to the single Our Lives are a little better written than Bad Day, the band Fuel never was much for having very good lyrics.

I agree, but I think Fuel's song was more relevant to "Your Day!"

Today... I did ****ing nothing today.
I listened to music, was typing on some forums on my laptop, listened to some more music, ate, took a ****, listened to some more music, played some gran turismo and now I'm going to listen to some more music.

Sounds a bit frustrating... you should try and do something which makes you think "I'm glad I woke up this morning!" After all, each day may be our last. (200th post! And don't worry, s k, I promised I wouldn't miss your 2000th!)
Today was a long round of study for me. And I've got this horrible virus which I've called Steven Tyler because it makes me sound like him, and it feels like listening to him.
