Birmingham: Where they speak the slowest English in the world.

And Germans don't love misery and racial tension?

Only when they're led by Austrians.

Anyway, today marks the first day of my 'diet' (I use the term loosely because it doesn't involve much food tweaking, I'm already in good health and I hate the idea of quick fixes anyway). Basically, I'm going to aim for going for a run at least three times a week, more if I can. I'm also going to stop grabbing quick snacks when I get home just to get as hench as I possibly can. I might take up another sport as well. The only problem is doing it without my family noticing.

Well, this is it. I'm done with weed, and I think this time it's for good.

I've been having too many fucking problems sleeping when I don't smoke and it's seriously messing with me. I'm at a point in my life when I don't need it, I don't want it, and further abuse would only provoke mental instability.

And you know what? I feel pretty damn happy about finally kicking the habit.

Me 1 Marijuana 0

EDIT: This goes for all other hallucinogens too. I'm comfortable experiencing the world through a clear lens from now on.

Ah, it's refreshing to read such a thing on this forum where drug use seems so common.
Keep it up, mate!

I honestly think it made me stronger in the long run to try it for a while (going on five years now) and realize "whoa buddy, this stuff has consequences" rather than go through life not knowing what those drugs had the capacity to do to my perceptual awareness.

This might be the first time in my life that I've looked upon sobriety as refreshing and not a downer.

I've never done drugs and I've never had the feeling I needed them.
So even if they do something good, a human can do without.

Agreed wholeheartedly.

You know, I used to look upon that sort of mentality as naivete, but now, it's just plain common sense to me.

You know what? I've only actually tried weed once, and didn't really like it. Blastingas will be furious.
