I somehow managed to turn a lecture featuring Bill Nye the Science Guy into a double-date. With any luck the prospect of a girlfriend will help my friend get off his ass and get a job. Best of all I might even get laid, which will make it 3/3 for sex after a lecture...

Well, I had fever today. It felt so awful, but luckily I feel better now. It's just my body still feel some pain...

I met Bill at the Museum of Science and Industry when I took my daughter there about 10 years ago. It was totally out of the blue. My daughter tugged on my shirt and said "Look Daddy, it's the guy from that science show!". He was preparing for a little show inside the museum, so I walked up to him and shook his hand, and announced how we were big fans. You know, the usual nervous greeting kind of thing.

It was very unclimactic, but his show was cool, as always.

I used to watch his TV show religiously as a kid. I mean, how else was I supposed to learn about kinetic energy and alternating currents and all that crap? Haha! Never got any boyfriends out of it though, lol.

We watched Bill Nye the science guy in science classes during my time in academy. I knew that when that TV came rolling in Bill Nye was going on. He was awesome.
