We friggin KILLED on Saturday!

I set everything (all cabs/monitors) behind the drummer, which is something new for the rest of the members. They always set the singers monitors out front, but I told them to trust me and just try it. This way the drummer gets to hear everything, and not just the guitars. Things got tighter, and it made us all sound much better than previous venues, which can have a synergistic effect on the way everyone playing gets into the tunes.

Lots of adulation, and flattery. On the way out, I even got a kiss from the family patriarch (which is an old MAN), as he leaned in I told him "Not on the lips man!".

One of our best shows.

Today, it's back to work. yay.
