At any rate it oculd be worse. There are people that don't leave tips at all.
ANd then there are teenagers (sometimes) that come in asking all sorts of questions trying to degrade you.
So you see there are worse things than a 5% tip.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

I got back from China last night.
China is great, you can get fake cds for £1 each.
Found Radiohead - Com Lag so i'm happy.
Apart from that nothing music related happened.

Did you see the Great Wall and the Terracotta army?

I'd love to visit China...the closest I got was Burma or Laos, whichever's nearest.

Hell yeah.
Great wall = amazing. I was on a bit of the wall where there weren't any tourists, and after you've had a two hour hike up their and you reach the top and look across all the hills... its basically its the best feeling in the world.
Terracotta Army, i'm going to be honest, is a bit disapointing. Nowhere near as good as people say it is.

I'm jealous. A visit to China is a once in a lifetime gig, for most people...your lucky.

Apparently there's a new Hong Kong airline opening which'll have return tickets for under £200 (to Hong Kong). Capitalism's slowly creeping in and with it cheaper flights... so soon you might be able to go to Tibet instead of the Alps or Pyrenees, for example, and all told it should work out cheaper (accomodation and food costing a lot less in China).

Excellent. ^
My wife asked if she could go to Prague with some friends from work...I was mortified until she explained how much it would cost.

£33 return flight.
£20 per night accommodation.
30 pence for a pint of beer.

Also today (this morning) my 5 year old son swam 2 lengths on his back, without armbands. *is proud*

My God! 2 lengths and he's 5?! You should be proud really...

I was supposed to be meeting my girlfriend at 12 today, but neither of us can make it there in time so she's coming round to mine at 2.30. She was supposed to be staying the night but her parents are apparently being arsey about it

And yesterday I went to the Snooker hall with a couple of my mates, in my new 3 quarter length jeans and sunglasses, then it started to rain and there was thunder and lightning But I bought Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots and Absolution, and had been given the new Razorlight album. All 3 albums are brilliant.

Then I went back to my house with my mates and we never did anything for ages and just sat around and had a laugh. Then it was night-time, my Mom's friends came over and I sat up in my room away from it all, couldn't get to sleep at all so had some Bailey's to knock me out

And as you can see, I get heavily bored just before I'm about to go out. So I've decided to bore you lot with these events also.

Woah, well done him. Having seen my niece's attempts at swimming (she's 4 and watching her try to doggie paddle was a lot like watching a duck dive for food) I'm impressed that your kid can already do lengths!
