Your Day

I got the Home Alone treatment last night. I arrived at the hotel and all of my guild mates were in their rooms and we were supposed to meet up at 730 to go eat dinner together. I call/texted and went to look for one of the guys at 715 and it looked like his car was gone. So I was like okay maybe they left without me. I get a call around 830 and they were like "oh **** we left and forgot you." So they brought me back this dark home brewed beer from the place they went to.

Earlier this morning we went out to play Disc Golf. It was my first time playing that but it was fun until we got to about the 10th hole and people were dying of dehydration because nobody thought to bring water or anything besides me so we headed back to the car to go meet up with some others and grab lunch.

I'm having fun so far in Austin. I might hit up the Alamo Drafthouse tomorrow.

well, it's finally stopped being a blazing inferno here in Seattle and it's now hoodie weather.

I've no idea what to do with myself so I'm stealing wifi from my friendly neighborhood library and awaiting the coming weeks.

this is essentially the last day I'll actually be able to relax. I've got two jobs now.

My day? I worked so damn many hours Monday through Thursday that my employers gave me the day off today. I spent it doing nothing except hanging out watching movies and it was glorious.

Last night I played a four hour long game of Cards against Humanity with 16 different players. It was pretty epic.

I also got a bit tipsy off of honey wine. My first time trying it. They had strawberry, chocolate and some other flavor. I hovered near the strawberry one for the rest of the night.

What kind of Strawberry wine? Strawberry honey wine or just strawberry wine itself? There is a difference I would think.

Just approaching a week now after quitting cigarettes. No patches or gum etc just willpower so I am very proud of myself.

I have the final stage of an interview process Monday afternoon that has encompassed an hour long online assessment, a 20 minute phone interview and a 12 page print out of application forms, security checks etc The interview is approx 3 hours long too! The job? Assistant manager of a supermarket! I thought it was MI6 the amount of time it is taking! Hopefully I will get it as I finish my current job this weekend after handing in my notice!
