went on a lovely ride up in northern Washington.....i meant to take more (and better) pictures....but i was not prepared at all for the weather....cold and raining....and i was only wearing a bib (cycling shorts) and a jersey....froze my ass off but still got in a beautiful 58 mile ride.....sorry for the shaky pictures.....i was literally shaking


some cranes playing in the Puget Sound.....they were flying above me....amazing how something that large can flying so gracefully


this picture is a bit misleading....as there was no sun at all today....still about two miles riding through this forest tunnel


nothing better than ordering a beer and looking out the window and seeing the symbol of one of your favorite record labels....i asked the waitress if that was a record store....but she had no idea.....i googled the place and it turns out that they are the distributor for several small Pacific Northwest labels.....gonna have to come back on a weekday


on our way back.....had to get a picture of an Otter statue with the oil refinery in the background

I went to the park today and approached this little kid that was JAMMING out on his headset. I asked him what he was listening too, he told me Daft Punk. I knodded my head and said "ahh cool, what song?" Get Lucky. I asked do you enjoy their original sound more, or this disco thing they have going. He said no no they only have one album, as if he knew what the fuck he was talking about. I destroyed that kid with knowledge.
