Mama Booze 08-16-2006 05:11 PM

ArtistInTheAmbulance 08-16-2006 05:14 PM

ahah, thanks .
although, i dunno why everyone keeps wishing me luck when im just picking them up. . .
dyou think it would affect the results whilst theyre still in the envelope?
ah well we shall never know.

Mama Booze 08-16-2006 05:18 PM

Well thats just it, we'll never know ;]

MoonlitSunshine 08-16-2006 05:22 PM

leaving cert students over here got their results yesterday. I haven't asked anyone I know what they got. Good Luck! I think it's a reflexive thing, to say good luck in situations like that. In fact, what would be more appropriate is Premature Congratulations!

ArtistInTheAmbulance 08-16-2006 05:23 PM

or premature consolations.

MoonlitSunshine 08-16-2006 05:24 PM

Nah, cause that's pessimistic! be optimistic!

ArtistInTheAmbulance 08-16-2006 05:29 PM

why do optimists always insist their way is better!
i dont get my hopes up, i dont get dissapointed,
works better than the constant crashing of dreams,
then the constant struggle to "think positive" when you know theres no chance.
trust me, its much simpler & much more fun our way.
no need to worry about such silly things.

MoonlitSunshine 08-16-2006 05:32 PM

Yeah, but sometimes in thinking that you have failed, you will fail. I admit it's a bit late now, but still... optimism DOES work..
