I adopted a cat today, her name is summer! I will post pictures soon. She's sooooo adorable. Life is complete.

Cats are adorable. Much envy. I can't wait to find a place that I can have both Corona and a cat in.


Today I went shopping. It was a surreal experience. I do not shop often. But, I have some money saved up and since most of my clothes are thrashed I figured I should get some new ones. Sweet kicks, seriously- ****in sweet new kicks. I wanted to get another pair- Vans has these lepoard print flats that were pretty damn cool but too expensive. I got three new shirts that are totally awesome. I got 2 new cookbooks- one is a bunch of vegan-ized African, African-American, and Brazilian dishes (some Spanish stuff in there too) and the other is just a detailed account of traditional Italian vegetables- different varieties of eggplants or artichokes and whathaveyou. Cool stuff. And I got new wheels for my skateboard because the ones I have now are great, but just not what I need. They're those little extra firm, extra light ones that are great for tricks but terrible for cruisin'. Ima cruiser.

OH.

And so while shopping at the Vans store these little kids kept following around asking if I was their PaPa. It was both adorable and, after I told them no, heartbreaking.
