Drank egg nog with rum and played Bowie songs on acoustic guitar for my two-week-old son. Life is perfect.

I've just had a really great day in general.

I looked really cute today (I'll probably post a pic later).

I wasn't expecting anything from a friend of mine but she sent me a package with a Tommy James LP & a vintage Carpenters songbook inside with a heartfelt letter.

Then eBay's awesome customer service helped me get back into my account (I got locked out after the site had a security breach and some shit went down with people's passwords - couldn't get into the email I signed up with and had changed the phone number I signed up with, so I was screwed until today).

Now I'm getting my drink on and trying to find the right jams.

Best part of living in SoCal? The weather is awesome 98% of the time.

Worst part of living in SoCal? As soon as that other 2% hits you get sick because your immune system is a total pussy.

Hey, I live in a place where the weather is awesome 2% of the time, and my immune system's still a total pussy.

Ontario's got an estimated 500,000 lakes and one third of the world's fresh water.

in the ~20ish years I spent in Minnesota I'd never been to Canada once.

People from Winnipeg, MB would travel my hometown and camp all summer, though.

If you lived in Winnipeg, you'd want to get away too.
