That privilege will be reserved only for my friends on FB.

I'm out of lube. Everything helps.

Black Francis 03-27-2015 09:20 PM

I thought you were going to take a picture of it and call it art.

**** four hour train rides. Those things suck.

It's worth it though, I'll get to see my dog and my friends. And my family too I guess.

Went without earplugs, a lot of people couldn't, but I'm a masochist when it comes to music.

Thanks Ribbons. I'm one of the few people in the world that actually enjoys going to work everyday.

Spoiler for Blah blah blah:
Chances are pretty high that when a building is on fire, the firemen putting it out have trained in one of my facilities. I've created hundreds all over the U.S., and overseas too in places like Puerto Rico, Africa, Greece, Korea, and a few others that escape me right now. One doesn't just automatically become a fireman, it takes hundreds of hours of evolution training, and that's where I come into play. I design the facilities that get utilized for certification. My latest creation (along with a handful of smaller units) is a mock Submarine for the U.S. Navy with Class A and B full burn capabilities throughout that will be used by Military personnel for on-shore training evolutions. Right now I'm working on a mock-up of the USS Freedom (Google image that for an idea of what I'm talking about) which will be huge. Along with the structures I design that can be used multiple times for live fire training exercises, I also design all the props that go into them too. Roof pitch simulators, flash-overs, vehicle extrication, rappel towers, breach walls, SCBA Mazes, and a lot more. I draw them, and our team of fabricators build em. It's always a great feeling to see these things take shape and come to life. My work is tightly kept under wraps, but once in a while I can show a sneak peak, so here's a small rendering of the mock-up USS Freedom:

And on top of that you can play a mean guitar. :thumb:

That's all awesome Plankton and no wonder why you can photoshop anything.

My day is just starting but im planning on calling a friend to do some music with him.

That's Plan A, Plan B is to do nothing and just chill at home. though i feel better im still a little sick with a cough.

^Thanks BF.

I got a call a few days ago from a friend of a friend. Apparently, I played guitar with this person, who is a friend of the singer of the K|S|P Project, and he asked me to play at his birthday party with him, where I'd be doing lead guitar duties. I said I'd think about it since I had no recollection of ever meeting the guy. So, last night he was frantically blowing my phone up (because someone else backed out at the last minute) and I finally answered it. I had to ask him just who the hell he was again, and he tried to explain it, but I still don't have a clue. Anyway, I told him to send me a playlist (which he did), and I'll be there ready to play. My dilemma, is that I really don't feel like doing this. Now, I have a list of about 20 songs, most of which I have played before but would have to sit down and learn again, which is quite a few hours of studying, and the rest are songs that I really can't stand listening to, let alone sitting down and learning them. I'm not a professional musician. I have no obligation to do this, other than me telling him I'd show up. If I do this, I probably won't be ready with the entire list, and will more than likely falter on a good percentage of them, but I'll fake my way through it. Also, it's in a bad part of town, and I'll have to be my own roadie, which is never fun.

What would you do?

Keep your word and do the gig?

~or~

Blow the whole thing off?
