I want a part-time job this summer, and I want to work at this local shipping company because I refuse to work in sales *shudders*.
Before you even apply for a job there, you have to attend a formal tour of the facility. No big deal right? I look up the address and sign up for being part of a "tour" at 4:30 today. I leave with what I thought was plenty of time to get there. Thing is, I forgot to factor in that it is at 4-****ing-30 on a weekday, and I should increase the travel time by at least 50%, which translates into me needing another 30-40 minutes to get there on time. I was barely halfway there and it was 4:30, so I said **** it, and I came home. tl;dr: My day was very unproductive. |
Try it again tomorrow wpn.
What you said about having to attend a formal tour reminded me that i went to the local Church's chicken factory for tour and a mini seminar before they gave me a job. They made us sit to a cheesy company video that started with the black eyes peas song "Let's get started in here" cause they're fun hip company and they want you to know that. They made a big deal about their chicken showing us the history of church's chicken and alot of useless information no fast food employee gives a f*ck about cause it's not gonna be relevant to their actual job. At the end of the presentation they gave us a coupon for a free meal. |
Is the food any good? I searched and we have one pretty close. Better or worse than KFC or Popeye's?
|
I'd say is about the same as Kfc.
idk how KFC works in US but here they abandoned the deep fried crispy recipe but Church's chicken still uses that one, their biscuits are also way better. |
