Real southern german potato salad is made without mayo and is delicious.
You americans just came to eat the most disgusting variety for some reason.

I know a guy that put mayo on everything. I think he died from too much mayo. At the Mayo Clinic.

I guess you could argue that had Hitler eaten potato salad with mayo all his life, he'd have died much earlier, possibly during childhood.
So in a way the good kind of potato salad is kinda nazi-ish.
