Today, I ate part of a burrito that smelled like a dirty dish rag. ****ing disgusting. I've been going to the same Mexican joint for going on 10 years now and have never had a problem... until today. If I don't post anything from this point on, call poison control.

I've been meaning to put some serious time into exploring Van Morisson's discography since the first time I saw his performance in The Last Waltz. I continually hear that his early 70s albums were some of the most influential masterpieces in the history of pop/rock music. So I've got 5 of his alleged masterpieces from '68 - '74 ready to go, gonna find a sunny parking lot, crack open a lemonade, eat some grub, and hopefully discover what all of the fuss is about.

When at his best, there's hardly anyone better than VM

In the last few days we've had Office Depot print up over 2,500 pages of email discovery from all of the parties. Now we have to sort it by year (the **** comes in all kinds of random like) and then find specific emails that align with our 20 page timeline of the relationship between our company and the two we are suing. On top of that I'm going through 17 years of my own correspondence looking for needles in the haystack.

Fun times baby! :tramp::tramp::tramp:

Best part of my day: The satisfying feeling of exhaustion following a streak of self-motivated accomplishments.

I worked on the house, wrote several articles, a few of which were instantly snatched up by a NYC news site, forged friendships with newly-discovered peers, challenged my social anxiety by venturing out to a cafe with my gear and meeting up with locals for inspiring discussion, wrote a critical piece on late capitalism, and started an exciting collaborative project with a fellow music critic in England.

It's been a busy weekend!

Received my balisong and learned the basic 3 step open and 3 step close move pretty good. Took the advice of some youtube dudes and picked a training one to learn additional moves. Unlike the real one this one has more of a butter knife blade with no sharp point. The more advanced tricks can definitely leave some nasty cuts if you screw up.

Here's what I can do so far with the real one. Not quite this fast yet.

So I barely posted here the past week because I was on a trip for Spring Break and boy was it a trip of a lifetime. My buddy's dad is the top orthopaedic surgeon in the whole state of Indiana and is thusly loaded as **** and owns essentially a mansion on an island off the southwest coast of Florida (Marco Island) and he let his son, myself, and 6 of our closest friends stay there for a week in what obviously turned into a crazy near nonstop drinking binge. There were boat rides, beaches, pool days, hangovers, amazing meals (the guy bought every meal every day for all 8 dudes...), and overall it was just a ****ing ridiculously awesome experience. I'll never have a spring break like that again (unless of course he lets us all go again next year). It's pretty awesome that the best spring break of my life came on my senior year of college
