Ya, but I'm stuck in the 70s so your logic sucks balls.

Sucking balls, what a visual.

Today Im venturing out of my safe place and into downtown Austin. :(
Going to take the kids to Voodoo Donuts, which theyve been eager to visit.
No doubt we will be pelted with wasp nests and dog turds by the hipsters.

The open mic I hosted last Friday (while being deathly ill with the flu) went over so well, they paid me double what I was asking, and have already set another date. Now that I'm coming out of this flu coma, reality is setting in... I gotta do all that again?! Ugh.

Oh you poor things with your uber active social lives.

"I'll be hosting the UN committee on 'music in society' on Wednesday. *sigh* Again!"

Must be rough.

Was told by my CEO that he plans on offering me the company before he retires.

Not a bad day at all!

Congrats! I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but where do you work again?

Thanks! It's a regional family-owned print company that has been in business since 1933. In recent years I've led the development of our sister-company which focuses on digital solutions like mobile apps and paperless workflow automation.

Sounds really interesting! I'm sure you'll do a good job when the time comes around for you to own it.
