Skill: This one should be obvious.

Individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment: "MLG operates MLG.tv, the #1 online broadcast network for professional level competitive gaming; the MLG Pro Circuit, the longest-running eSports league in North America; and GameBattles, the largest cross platform online gaming tournament system with 9 million registered users across the globe."

People can dismiss it all they want, but MLG gaming was made specifically for eSports. It's been noticed by multiple platforms as being a legitimate sport. To say it isn't all leads down to not being knowledgeable on the subject.

The fact that you guys have to use sarcasm to respond to a topic that you showed interest in shows how arrogant to the topic you really are.

When I play hardcore free jazz, I get really into it and sweat a lot and can be quite sore the next day.

Music is my favourite sport.

its not arrogance, it just makes no sense.

Ki, I physically exert sh*t out my assh*le twice a day. It doesn't mean it's a sport.

Is typing a sport? No? What about REALLY REALLY fast typing? Mavis Beacon should be considered for the Olympics as well.

I think you're just trying to defend gaming by calling it a sport when you really don't have too. Video Games are art. They're great because it's an art that you can actually interact and manipulate. That doesn't mean it's a sport though. Writing six chapters of a novel isn't a sport. Watching nine movies in a row isn't a sport. Playing with a controller isn't a sport. I don't care what game you're playing.

Sorry, it's just not really a topic I consider serious. If it means anything I don't really consider NASCAR as a sport, and Golf boarders on not being a sport in my mind as well.

I think they are raising legitimate questions.

It actually does make sense. If you read what I'm telling you, you'd realize that there's no reason to think otherwise. MLG gaming fits into the definition of a sport just like soccer and football do.
