Not to mention that movies such as that are just plain boring.

The trailer really pissed me off, and I thought, "I wish there was a roomful of angry pitchfork-wavers I could get my hate on with..."

and then I remembered that Reddit exists.

(And yes, the top comments are about Rob Schneider.)

Haven't used reddit in years. Tried again a few weeks ago and felt like I had really outgrown the humor on there. Not as motivated to check out the other sections either.

You're quite right. Reddit is terminally 16 years old.

There are a few niche subs which themselves grew out of their communities and became "true_****" subs but I definitely find myself becoming "old guy" in the room.

I had a tournament to go to yesterday morning, and I couldn't get off the toilet, thanks to a bunch of food from a surprise birthday party the night before. I almost didn't make the tee-off. Thank God for outhouses and port-a-johns strewn all over the course. Also, I played kinda shitty.

Intentional joke?

Hollywood is trying to make a buck off the most important digital rights issue of our time. And to keep the biopic as accurate as possible, they've loaded it with action sound effects, suspenseful chase scene climax music, sex, and a few explosions for good measure.

And some spooky 3D spy software visuals.

...and throw in Nicholas Cage. Because that's always a good idea.

The Citizenfour documentary film already exists, and it accomplishes everything a Snowden film needs to. I know I have a significant anti-Hollywood bias, but it's precisely cinematic titanics like this that drive that tendency.

It's Oliver Stone. The man hasn't made a good movie in a very, very long time.

The worst part is that near the end I threw my new Champion Thunderbird right into the swamp at high tide. I'd only used it once before. RIP

Dang dude, that sucks. I know if you'd have been in the group I was throwing with, someone would've dived in to get it. That's how they are. No disc left behind kind of thing. I lost one too, in the raging rapids of the little stream that winds through the course. But, it just floated away fast and it was gone in less than a minute. No saving it as I watched it sail down stream and out of site. I need new plastic anyway.
