Just wondering...why do Magic nerds get called "nerds" by nerds?
Sweet. Did you actually open your finds or do you buy/trade for things?

Also, I used to go to Friday Night Magic at a local nerd shop, and the people there ... Video games and other nerd things are pretty popular and "cool" here in the states, but FNM is still home to the smelliest, most awkward, anti-social group of young adults I have ever met. Maybe not all shops are like this, and there were definitely "normal" people who went as well, but the majority were a little strange to me.

Yup. This is every time I go to this video game store to shop when they have a vintage game sale. The odor is horrendous.

Just coming out of a Gamestop when Pokemon Sun/Moon dropped. I asked this kid which game he got and there was an awkward silence then he finally said that he got both of them and I just responded cool. It just reminded me how awkward/anti-social gamers can be.

Also, I'm so glad that my music was saved in a cloud because I decided to stream and not download mp3s like a ****ing dinosaur so I didn't lose all of my music.

The only music I did lose were all of my mixtapes that I get from Datpiff but I can just get those back and it isn't like thousands of songs I have to re-download.

I get the feeling that the next thing you said was: "Hey kid, I got a new Pokemon game in my van over there"

Went to the liquor store to pick up a couple of six packs of Brown Shuggas before taking the bus to my friend's place. The owner asked for my help with an application since his English isn't that great (he's originally from Iraq). So I helped him for about 30 minutes, wrote his cover letter and stuff and he gave me the two six packs for free, throwing in a third one. Kind of bittersweet since he's selling the company and won't be around anymore since he's a cool guy, but free beer!

On the downside, I missed my bus and have to wait two hours for the next one and I think I pulled my groin lugging all that beer to the bus stop.
