this is totally relatable. luckily most of the girls i've dated haven't had self-esteem issues so they can stand my being a dick, which, you know, stems from self-esteem issues.

Sure they did... we walked barefoot for miles through the snow to a one-room schoolhouse where we used slate instead of paper, and if you orated your Blueback Speller lessons properly, the schoolmarm don't whip you as hard as the other children.
