I've played a few 'Maiden albums to my kids and they both seem to like Powerslave the best. I'm not one to post videos of my kids on the net but trust me a two-year-old head banging to Aces High is pretty cute.

Spent all day tinkering with my laptop. I am close to admitting defeat and taking it to a local shop.

A surprising turn of events! Over the past few days, I'd spotted a few book clubs in town but hadn't really felt compelled to join, but still wanted to experience the joy of shared reading.

This afternoon a new title hit my mailbox - THE REVENGE OF ANALOG: Real Things and Why They Matter by David Sax.

I shared it to my city's record collector community on FB and there was an immediate response of shared interest. In a matter of minutes, I'd formed a book club for this title and we'll be sharing out thoughts as we read it.

Old co-worker randomly texted me to tell me I'm a badass because he had a stroke. That's terrible news.

New socks are even better than new underwear. Srsly tho.
