It's really not twisted tbh and someone like Cobain is precisely what I'm referring to. Good is not synonymous with technically proficient when it comes to their music, why would that change when it comes to them as a musician?

............I wouldn't say that bad is synonymous with technical proficiency and never have.

Do you need me to clarify for you? Because it really sounds like you missed what I was asking.

Is someone a good musician because they produce good music or because they produce technically proficient music, hypothetically assuming that a musician can't do both?

I love the fact that I can navigate the **** out of my guitars in a technical way, and can also make good music.

Pretty sure there's no right or wrong.

I've been up since 4:00 and need to take a power nap. Will expand on this more later.
