I would probably do the same if I was too stupid or boring to do something valuable or interesting with my life.

or maybe they keep working because they want to continue living luxurious lifestyles, not piss it all away on ferraris that get repo'd 2 years later when you find out how much they cost to maintain. Lotto winners don't do anything valuable or interesting with their lives in most scenarios.
