Lots of depression and alcoholism on my dad's side, bipolar and depression on my mom's. My dad was always threatening to kill himself and my sister and I have both attempted, cousin off'd himself a year ago and another cousin is currently 5150'd. Good thing my parents kept breeding though, nothing like 5 kids with crippling mental illness.

You should do it. Growing it out can suck that's why I buzzed it when I was ready to go back to blonde, much to Batty's dismay.
