took 3 advil for the back too :/ ****s hurting more than i thought

I had a pulled back muscle a few weeks ago that was so bad that I couldn't get out of bed. I eventually did though. I suffered through it for a few days then I started stretching as much as I could. By the 5th or 6th day I was ok to hit a round of disc golf, taking it very slow. After a day or two of that, I was back to normal. Give it time to heal before any stretching if it's a pulled muscle. Ice packs help with the swelling, and DO NOT try heat. I sat in a Jacuzzi and it made it worse.

If you regularly have back problems, then you should consider doing some stretching erryday.

Curious to know what kinds of stretches you mean

Doing the wrong stretches or doing them poorly could cause more harm than good

Pay 2 bodybuilders 10 bucks each. One grabs your hands, the other holds your legs. Each pulls as hard as they can for 30 seconds, in opposite directions, then they leave you at the nearest bench all refreshed.

Those are nice for loosening up my calves/quads but I feel like they’d just hurt my back, like is that actually good for your spine? I haven’t used one since I ran cross in high school and I never had back problems then anyway

i wouldn't grind my whole spine on it but it works for upper/lower back. at least imo, i'm no chiropractor

The only thing I stretch is a joke.
