I think it’s because you would have to be a genuine piece of **** to make quota. It’s the human interaction aspect. A guy could design chemical weapons and I’d think that’s a piece of **** way to make a living but I could still converse with him. A dude says he sells timeshares I’m immediately thinking this guy is the type who is always working an angle to **** everyone, including me, over.

So you assume everybody that sells timeshares is a sociopath?

No, we make better beer. Or what we call liquor store beer. We used to brew two different brews for in state and out of state, but now we make one brew and water down the local one. Literally.

Edit: At least I think we literally water it down. I don't remember, I don't honestly care.

I assume they’re the kind of piece of **** who can sell timeshares so yeah kind of. Sociopathic light maybe. I don’t allow people with those kind of manipulation skills in my life. I don’t trust a ****ing word they say.

Always remember, a sociopath makes excessive eye contact. The average person avoids eye contact when they are lying because they feel a sense of shame. A sociopath doesn't because they feel no shame since they've already justified the lie to themselves since self serving is their only goal. They also make excessive eye contact because they think it's more convincing, doesn't matter if they lied or not. They always make excessive and piercing eye contact to build trust.

I have been working so goddamn much it's driving me insane. Just worked my third straight 65 hour week. Sorry I haven't been around much. This is the last week of my old availability at Barnes and Noble. I'm giving it two weeks before I give notice because working there still is getting unbearable. I can make more money with the time I devote there with my own business which I've been neglecting.

Work at the record shop is going great though. So much stuff still left to do but it's really turning into something unique. I'll be around more often soon.

I know you said that there’s some really cool people at Barnes and Nobles and I believe that but still good for you getting that corporate *** stain the **** out of your life. It’s incredible that we’re rooting against brick and mortar but **** them. If their survival model is to operate in a manner that puts their staff on suicide watch they can pull a Blockbuster. Asswipes.

It isn't just that. They fired all their full time position lead employees. People that have been there 20 years gone to save a few million bucks. Now us lower pay slaves are stuck doing their work for less money. I was working just under 35 hrs a week there. You know what happens at 35 hrs a week? Benefits.

So, yeah. I changed my availability so about 18 hours because f*ck them. The company can suck a dick as far as I'm concerned. They had all the chances in the world to change to compete with Amazon and they just sat on their sh*tty hands.

I'm keeping it for at least two weeks to see if I can do all three things without dying. Record store, Barnes at night, my side record business squeezed in. After two weeks if it ain't working I'm done with it.

I read what those ********s did. Steal a bunch of **** and quit without notice. With your other job you don’t even need their reference. Man up kick those bitches back. Vandalize ****, steal ****, throw **** away, delete files, whatever.
